TLDSB’s Learn at Home High School will function on a very similar schedule to your traditional high school. Students will be expected to show up for class, and participate in 225 minutes of synchronous learning per day, as well as a 75 minute study hall. Attendance will be taken! Please see the general schedule below:

School Day / Virtual Bell Times
Period 1
8:30 am - 9:45 am
9:45 am - 9:55 am
Period 2
9:55 am - 11:10 am
11:10 am - 11:50 am
Period 3
11:50 am - 1:05 pm
1:05 pm - 1:15 pm
Period 4
1:15 pm - 2:30 pm

While 3 of these 4 periods will be live with your teacher, each class will have either period 2, 3, or 4, designated as a “study hall.” At this time, students will have independent work/assignments to complete. Even though your teacher will not be live during this time, if you get stuck, there will be teachers on duty who can assist. Teachers will share their class specific schedules on the first day.

Getting to Class

Getting to class is easy. All you need is your TLDSB student Google account ( After logging in on your school account, you just have to navigate to “Google Classroom” and click on your class. Teachers will have a link at the top of the Google Classroom page where you can join them. This class link will be in the same place, every day. Watch Mr. Gage try it out here.
